The fees applied to credit card payments correspond to the commissions charged by banks for securely processing the transaction. These fees do not constitute revenue for Madagascar Airlines.

To keep ticket prices as accessible as possible, the airline has chosen not to systematically include these costs in its fares. As a result, only credit card payments incur these associated fees, amounting to approximately 3% of the transaction total.

Payments made in cash at Madagascar Airlines sales points are not subject to these fees.

What documents do I need to provide for an EVASAN request?

Your request must include the following documents:

• Detailed medical certificate: Issued by your attending physician, it must specify your health condition, diagnosis, current treatments, care needed during the flight (oxygen, stretcher, etc.), and the reason for the EVASAN.
• MEDIF form: This Madagascar Airlines-specific form (MEDical Information) will be provided to you by the branch and must be duly completed and signed by your physician.
• Letter of commitment: For the medical team accompanying passengers on stretchers.

For safety reasons related to pressure changes in the cabin, passengers wearing a cast are generally not allowed to travel.

If you absolutely must travel with a cast, please follow these steps:

1. Contact us before your departure to obtain approval from our medical department.
2. Provide a medical certificate stating that you are fit to travel by air.
3. Follow the EVASAN (Medical Evacuation) procedure by submitting your medical file.
